Nomenade Consulting is an environmental and project consulting firm created to enable and assist clients in the mineral resources, infrastructure, transport, energy and agricultural sectors to meet their objectives.
We provide strategic, professional services to assist clients and partners to identify and address environmental, approvals, stakeholder and community relations threats or opportunities.
We also work with clients throughout the project cycle – from inception and evaluation, through construction and operations to preparation for closure.
Nomenade Consulting can also assist clients with strategy, technical assurance, due diligence and project and study management services (e.g. concept, order of magnitude, feasibility). We can also assist your business to fulfil Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) requirements and set a pathway to decarbonisation and a low carbon future.
Nomenade Consulting has been established by Michael O’Keeffe, a senior professional with a background and qualifications in environmental science (B.Sc (Hons)), engineering (M.Env.Eng.) and community relations (Grad. Cert), with expertise in environmental studies, closure planning, project management and evaluation, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
With 30 years’ experience, Michael is a hands-on practitioner who prior to establishing Nomenade Consulting has worked as an employee for large companies, including Shell, Anglo American and Rio Tinto. Michael has worked in most facets of environmental management in the minerals and infrastructure sectors, including operations, approvals, technical assurance, closure planning and community relations. He also has experience assessing, reviewing and leading capital project studies. Currently based in Brisbane, Michael has worked across Australia and has been involved in many projects internationally, including three and a half years working in South America.
